SLOW FOOD… FROM THE FOREST TO THE PLATE

Enjoy a tour with the owners to our land in the rain forest to discover all the varied tropical trees and savour fresh mountain water from the natural spring. Meet the farmers, chat and ask anything you want to know about local agriculture, the fruit trees and the organically farmed crops, maybe even life in Grenada in general. We provide refreshments and for the brave a shot of local rum.

Personally harvest ingredients for your evening meal and then enjoy either in the Restaurant or on your villa deck, prepared and served by one of our local chefs. Our recommendation would be a private cookery lesson in your bana’s gourmet kitchen... where one can learn to prepare a typical Grenadian dish and the chef will be happy to share some of his well‐kept culinary secrets with you.

Hopefully, this trip enhances mutual understanding between visitor and Grenadian and reconciles the traditional agricultural soul of the island with its economic future in tourism.

Part 1: guided trip to the country (approx. 2 hours) ~ US$ 30.00 p.p.
Part 2 (optional): food consumption (just the meal cooked & sampled from the restaurant menu, private catering on the villa deck or cookery lesson in the villa)
