The use of local products includes locally made soaps and flowers for
the villas, for weddings and restaurant functions, and the restaurant
purchases as much as possible locally grown products from farmers and
fishermen. The local building crew used local/regional woods such as
Grenadian white cedar, Guyanese hardwood, etc. Wherever possible
sustainable products were used (bamboo and pine)...
Staff & social commitment: All our Grenadian staff stays employed full
time through the low season; we provide practical training for students
from TAMCC college; regular support of local charities such as ‘Chores’
(visiting specialists perform vital heart & eye surgeries), Grenada Heart
Foundation and Bel Air Children’s home...
